Asspire to join AU_

I am an old RON player Ive been playing since the days of TUF_, PCA although I was never in a clan at that time. Im recently back from a year layoff from an injury and have been knocking off the rust for month or so, things have chaged a bit (nations nerfed, strats and seems to be alot of nomad/low resouce/ exp tech and infinite games) since i was active. Also seems everyone jumping on [Elite] bandwagon.

I am an adult player will be very active now, the profile I am playing now is not that great 35-30, 8-1 rated 1793, but will pull up my old profile once im back in the grove which is 1150-450, 5-0 rated 2017.

I have alot of respect for AU_ , you have done alot for game and I like the way you conduct yourselve's. I especially like Sims posts and his effort on other sites to post rec games and strats and his general professionalism.

To be honest right now i probably high intermediate seems to differ a little, some games i play like a champ then i have some games not so good, still getting back my focus and micro.

I want to be come an expert and is one of many reasons i want to join AU_, to increase my potential, besides my general respect for your clan.

Any way let me know what i need to do, to persue application.

Hi Hopper, the way to get in is to play games w/ other AU players. After you've played a few people we'll put you to a vote. Very few of us are active ron players anymore... most have moved to ROL or other games. You can probably get some games w/ sims, bird & myself on occasion.

Dota... depth like ron or more micro?

Do I need antyhing other than wc3 to play?

dota is competitive and fun to play. u dont need much micro for dota.
all u need is wc3 frozen throne and download the map to play dota.

Dota is just a light simple way of playing wc3. More fun than anything else, although there are some really great dota players. I know wolf and shad play a bit of it, + my wc3 clan.

I think you need TFT + RoC. Theyre not expensive though.

Yes, DotA is plaYed in TFT, so u need wc3 and tft.

if u just join the public hosted games its low level shit,
if u plaY competetive games against other clans u need a lot of micro and some good strategY.
